Mitsubishi Motors North America's Manufacturing Division was recently honored as "Company of the Year" at the 13th annual Urban Wheel Awards for its achievements in promoting diversity within the automotive industry.

In a recent J.D. Power and Associates study that ranked the navigation systems of a wide variety of domestic and imported vehicles, only one ranked "Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Factory-Installed Navigation Systems": The Mitsubishi Lancer.

Due in large part to Mitsubishi's innovative RISE (Reinforced Impact Safety
Engineering) unibody construction, both the Mitsubishi Lancer and Outlander
received the highest crash safety rating from the Institute for Highway Safety
in front- and rear-impact crash tests.
*On models
equipped with ASC. Excludes RALLIART.

For delivering outstanding value and lower than expected costs, the 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart took home the prestigious "Best Overall Value of the Year" (BOVY) award in the sport sedan/wagon under $38,000 category, besting a long list of competitors from the U.S. and overseas.

A distinguished jury of 59 international automotive journalists recently named the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution one of the 10 finalists in the 2009 World Performance Car of the Year awards-the only four-door sedan to make the top 10.

Mitsubishi Motors' latest award for technological innovation came courtesy of the Automobile Journalist Association of Canada, who judged Lancer Evolution's groundbreaking Super All-Wheel Control system "Best New Technology" for 2009.

With a range of dog-friendly features and benefits, including a split tailgate, ultra-low floor and large cargo area, it's no surprise that Outlander was awarded five paws out of five and named Dog Car of the Year in its category by DogCars.com.

"Easily the best-ever compact from Mitsubishi, the Lancer also appears
to be one of the best compact sedans on the market, period."
- February
2007

"The world is full of hot-looking, fun-to-drive cars, a fraction of
which are affordable to the average buyer. The new Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart
sedan is one of those rare animals."
- October 2008

"Mitsubishi Lancer carries a youthful demeanor with edgy styling and
room to comfortably seat four adult occupants in an interior set up for five
people with ample trunk space to haul their gear."
- July 2008

"The Ralliart also carves a road pleasantly with well-weighted steering,
stout brakes, and a paddle-shifted transmission with quick, snag-free gear
changes."
- July 2008

"It's a solid contender in its class, especially for the money."
-
July 2007

"Taller, wider and more aggressively styled than the previous-generation
Lancer, the 2009 Lancer commands a much larger presence on the road."

"One extra-cost feature not to be missed is the 650-watt
Rockford-Fosgate Premium Audio system, which may be best in class. It sounds
strong, clear, and appropriately thumpy."
- March 2008

"By adding another layer of performance to the Lancer mix, Mitsubishi
will have a car that finally competes head-to-head with the Subaru WRX. Game
on."
- January 14, 2008

"With its roomy cabin, enjoyable driving demeanor and impressive crash test scores, the 2009 Mitsubishi Galant is a family sedan with spirit and style."

"The Galant offers sportiness and comfort that you won't find in any other midsize family sedan in this price range..."

"With more to offer, the 2009 Galant definitely should be on more
mid-size car buyer shopping lists."

"If you're looking for a family sedan with a plush interior, a racy exterior and a nice big back seat, the 2009 Mitsubishi Galant should be on your shopping list. The Ralliart trim delivers surprisingly good off-the-line performance and handling capability."

"The 2009 Mitsubishi Galant is an especially value-packed performer that's anything but boring. Your eyes, ears and pocketbook will agree: the 2009 Mitsubishi Galant looks as good on paper as it feels on the road."

"According to our analysis, the 2009 Mitsubishi Galant is a smooth and reliable drive with comfortable seating"

"The 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse combines brute power with exotic design, giving sports car enthusiasts the best of both worlds-at a worldly price."

"Blend the invigorating straight-line V6 acceleration, the sexy exhaust va-roooom, curvaceous exterior and refined interior and you have a boulevard cruiser in GT style, virile and strong..."

"For the money, the Eclipse is a pretty stylish front-wheel-drive sports
car. Even though the exterior changes are few for 2009, they do make an impact,
which is more than can be said for many mid-cycle product updates."
-
February 1, 2008

"The GT will have a much more aggressive look on the outside thanks to a
larger rear spoiler, HID headlamps and Active Stability Control. The Eclipse
Spyder convertible version, meanwhile, will get all the same modifications and
enhancements as the GS."
- March 2008

"If you don't want your car to feel old in a couple of years,
Mitsubishi's futuristically retro sporty-sounding Eclipse will keep both of you
feeling young."

"We must confess that looking good while driving fast is really
important to us. And the Eclipse GT is a genuinely quick car, as our test
results prove."
- October 2007

"...the 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT is still an entertaining partner on
twisty roads thanks to eager turn-in, a short wheelbase and a general feeling of
composure."

"Everyone raves about Nissan's V-6, but Mitsu's lusty MIVEC 3.8, as
tuned in this application, is every bit as good."
- October
2006

"The exterior is stunning. The car drew lots of twisted-neck looks from
other drivers."
- April 2006

"Put the top down, crank up the music and let the 2009 Mitsubishi
Eclipse Spyder make all of your driving summertime driving."
- March
2008

"It looks as if Mitsubishi has found the sweet spot for sporty
convertibles."
- April 2006

Mitsubishi Motors' latest award for technological innovation came courtesy of the Automobile Journalist Association of Canada, who judged Lancer Evolution's groundbreaking Super All-Wheel Control system "Best New Technology" for 2009.

"It flat spanked the $85,000 Porsche and walked all over the little
Lotus."
- May 2008

"This is a shocking amount of performance for the money."

"Gear changes are quick and keep the fun going from first to sixth."

"There's no question the Lancer Evolution GSR is a blast to drive - and that its cold-weather performance is almost as stellar as its warm-weather fun factor."

"When it comes to traction at the limits, Mitsubishi's Lancer EVO is one
of the best."

"I've driven lots of cars, but I've never driven anything like this
super-tuned sports car."

"The up-shifts are Ferrari-quick and the downshifts happen precisely
when you need them, every time. On a trip from LA to San Francisco, the MR
provided what no other hot-blooded Evo has before: ride comfort. We averaged 23
mpg too - not bad for a 291 hp rocket."
- November 2008

"The Evo X has a completely revamped interior. The wing-backed Recaro
seats are the only familiar touches; everything else, from the dashboard to the
door panels, has gone decidedly up-market."
- November 2007

"The Evo's purpose has always been about its X-Acto-like ability to
slice up winding mountain roads. The all-wheel-drive system is as keen as they
come, and every system, including the new active yaw control, is dialed for
at-the-edge performance."
- August 2008

"The new Evo looks sophisticated and fast, while playing the role of
the unassuming sedan -- though the curvy spoiler on the back does serve as
reminder to this car's heritage and continues to block half of your vision
through the rearview mirror - an Evo tradition."
- August
2008

"The Evo has the best version of this kind of transmission to date. The
135i's auto isn't bad. Probably the best currently in a BMW, but the Evo's
TC-SST is just amazing."
- August 2008

"The Evo X is by far the most capable, forgiving and fun
off-the-showroom-floor you can buy today."
- April 2008

"U.S.-spec models finally get AYC (Active Yaw Control). Previously
reserved for Japan-spec models only, this new technology makes the Evo X one of
the best-handling sports sedans in the world."
- November
2007

"Mitsu's upcoming Sportback gives North America's best looking small car its hottest variant."

"...the Outlander is comfortable, available with all-wheel drive and has enough storage and cargo space to satisfy both individuals and small families"

"The Outlander gives you the promise of four-cylinder fuel economy and
all-wheel drive for a reasonable price compared with most competitors..."
-

"Best mid-size SUV for families."
- July 2008

"This very functional and perfectly comfortable crossover is well
executed."
- 2008 Buyer's Guide

"Due to the Endeavor's impressive 250 lb-ft of torque, the 3.8-liter
engine feels responsive off the line and into the midrange."
-
2008

"The Mitsubishi Endeavor feels stable underway yet handles well in corners--benefits of its car-based structure."

"The seats and driving positions of the 2008 Mitsubishi Endeavor win praise from reviewers."

"AutoPacific, a leader in the analysis and research of the automobile industry, recognized the Mitsubishi Endeavor for highest overall customer satisfaction in the premium mid-sized sport utility category. In this 2006 study, drivers rated their vehicles across 44 specific areas including comfort, safety and overall purchase/lease experience."
